One year has gone. In this year I have been through photography and iStock photo. It’s been a pleasure and it’s gonna be a pleasure working hard and trying to propose new and high quality pictures. When I started with photography, I have always been told to take picture of subject that I like, because you know the subject and in this way you can take the best out of it. Just to say, I really enjoy spending time on the beach and taking pictures. Maybe because It brings me back some memories of my childhood or something more recent like my travel around Australia. Anyway good feelings:

Inspired by Gioadventures, one of my best photographer, I started to look around abandoned places in Bristol. After a long and boring research ( kinda 10 minutes ), I found one. To keep al the details and emphasize the spooky atmosphere, I decided for HDR technique. This is the result:

Some days ago, I was wandering around Weston-Super-Mare. At this point the question is normal: what is that? It’s a seaside resort very close to Bristol, where I actually live, on the Bristol Channel.

I thought about this new project long time ago, but I didn’t have the skill to develop it ( and i need to improve anyway ). The picture is about a man, dressed with a old fashioned raincoat and a fedora hat, waiting for someone or something. To enphasize the waiting, I have used two different pictures and matched together, so the guy ( that’s me by the way ) is in two different position .

Why do i really enjoy landscape photography ? Because you need time to reach a good point of view and that means you can hike one or two hours around, just because you always want to find a better angle. But it can really worth all the effort. In this picture a fantastic view of Quiraing, Trotternish peninsula, Isle of Skye, Highlands, Scotland:

I like travelling, I like wandering around new places just to get lost. Easy to get lost is the “Medina” of Marrakech, Morocco. Here a shot in a narrow alley of a Muslim woman covering her face .
